Irony: Gourmet Sloppy Joes

We were looking through our cookbooks to make our grocery list when my husband came across a special kind of sloppy Joe. It was in a Better Homes and Gardens 30-min or Less cookbook.  So, it seemed easy and he wanted to try it. How could I say no?

There was no ketchup in the recipe, rather tomato sauce and bulgur. I ended up having to substitute the bulgur because we couldn't find any, but they still came out rather good.

Believe it or not, we discovered that the order you layer the sandwich is important. We tried some more practical stacking, but the flavor got messed up. It has to be romaine on the bottom, then the meat and some Feta Cheese to top it off. They were pretty yummy!
